Our consultant dermatologists can screen and assess all major skin conditions and provide detailed treatment plans.  We can assess moles and skin changes to ensure any potential skin cancers are caught early.

NHS dermatology waiting times are some of the longest to see a specialist and our team has brought the expertise of private consultant dermatologists with the latest hi-tech imaging to the Fylde Coast, Lytham St Annes and Lancashire.

Skin Cancer

• There are around 16,700 new skin cancer cases (serious type called melanoma) in the UK every year. That’s 48 cases daily.
• Melanoma skin cancer is the 5^th most common cancer in the UK accounting for 4% of all cancer cases.
• Melanoma causes 2300 deaths per year = 6 deaths per day
• Our GPs and consultants can assess you quickly and refer for onward treatment on the NHS or privately. We can provide reassurance around any moles, spots or skin colour changes.

Skin Conditions

Our consultant dermatologists can assess all skin and scalp conditions.  Common conditions include:

• Psoriasis
• Eczema (adult and child)
• Moles and Spots
• Rosacea (where you have flushing and redness of the forehead, cheeks and bridge of nose).

 What to expect at your appointment

1. Pre-appointment questionnaire with our nurse or pharmacist. Questions related to your skin, general health, and current medication.
2. Our Private GP will assess you in person.
3. High-definition pictures of your skin condition or mole.
4. Consultant dermatologist review of your history and pictures.
5. Rapid consultant treatment plan – our GP will explain this with you.
